CEO
Charlie brings over 30 years of diverse experience across various sectors to his role as CEO of WellFish Tech, including 13 years in commercial and executive positions at Skretting, a global aquaculture feed supplier.
Professor Brian Quinn
CSO / Founder
Professor of ecotoxicology at the University of the West of Scotland, with >25 years’ experience in biomarker development. More recently CEO/founder of WellFish Tech since 2021 helping to shape the company into the global leader in fish health and welfare assessment.
Shona Banks
COO
Experienced in start-up, growth and commercial environments within the human healthcare industry for over 15 years, Shona brings leadership skills of delivering novel scientific technology products from research to global commercial delivery at scale.

Holds various non-executive positions within the agricultural, Ag-tech and investment (Peacock Technology, Biotangents, Enteroprotech, TerraProtein Equity Partners, AHC,Horizon Proteins) sector built upon a global executive career in Animal genetics and Agrochemicals. (Aviagen and DowChemicals).

Dave Cockerill

With more than 25 years experience as both an independent and in-house veterinarian, and holding the role of Fish Health Director at two of Scotland’s leading Salmon Producers, Dave’s leading experience of aligning fish health and welfare to sustainable and profitable farming, aims to objectively characterise fish well-being using tools that allow more informed management choices.

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture combined with an MBA in Strategy and Leadership which provides a strong foundation for bridging industry expertise with business insight. More than 20 years of experience in and around the Norwegian aquaculture industry, bringing a deep understanding of operational processes, fish health and strategic development
Mark Braceland
North America Director
Obtained a PhD in Animal Health from The University of Glasgow prior to moving to Canada in 2016 and is a founding member of the QASH initiative. Mark is an internationally recognized expert in Fish Health active in maximizing the sustainability of the aquaculture industry and its socio-economic benefits through disrupting how we evaluate stock health.
